Role Definition Supports the resolution of quality issues and processes for the supply function in the organization.

Responsibilities

Provides conclusions and recommendations for quality issues and/or continuous quality improvement projects.

Participates in supplier quality improvement initiatives; works with suppliers to develop and improve quality levels.

Ensures the reliability and quality of suppliers, implementing process controls, certification programs, evaluations, inspections, corrective actions, audits and records.

Identifies quality problem(s) and determines a short-term and long-term action plan with the organization and the supplier.

Utilizes quality processes to qualify new products.

Adheres to organizational quality management processes and practices.

Applies key aspects of continuous improvement processes and evaluates impact on quality.

Desired Qualifications Supply Chain, Engineering or related degree

Experience in Supplier Quality

Familiarity with investment casting and airfoils (blades, nozzles)

Summary Pay Range $87,456.00 - $131,184.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
