Overview
We are looking for a Pediatric Intensivist to join our 16‑bed PICU at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV. The hospital is the region’s only Level‑II Trauma Center and is affiliated with the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
Responsibilities
The 16‑bed PICU has an average daily census of 10‑11 patients.
Provide 24‑hour in‑house coverage.
Lead sedation services.
Manage ER consults.
Educate medical students and pediatric residents.
Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, including surgery.
Oversee a 30‑bed pediatric acute care ward covered by affiliated pediatric hospitalists.
Qualifications Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Pediatric Intensivist.
