Job Summary And Responsibilities Virginia Mason Franciscan Health’s Center for Cardiovascular Health in Silverdale, Washington is hiring a per diem Interventional Cardiologist to work at the state-of-the-art St. Michael Medical Center in Washington. This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team recognized for excellence in patient care and clinical outcomes for patients throughout the Puget Sound, Kitsap Peninsula and Olympic Peninsula. Physicians are attracted to the area because of the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and great year-round outdoor activities.
Our cardiovascular service line includes fourteen Cardiologists and thirteen advanced practice practitioners, including four interventional cardiologists, a structural cardiologist, three electrophysiologists, an advanced cardiac imager specializing in cardiac MRI and an advanced heart failure cardiologist. The program has received multiple American Heart Association gold and platinum awards and has been recognized by the American Thoracic Surgeons with several 3‑star awards. We have one of the highest PCI volumes in the state and are a leader in quality and outcomes, with a robust structural heart program that includes TAVR and left atrial appendage occlusion. The local service line is complemented by two cardiothoracic surgeons, four cardiac anesthesiologists, three vascular surgeons, and thoracic surgery, and extends across an 11‑hospital system with three tertiary centers and the Virginia Mason Franciscan Cardiovascular Fellowship program.

BC/BE; American Board of Cardiology
Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA
Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority required for the specific practice
BLS required
