Novant Health Pender Medical Center is seeking a Hospitalist to join their growing team! Come practice rural medicine in eastern North Carolina, where you’ll make a true impact in the community while enjoying a supportive team and welcoming environment.
Opportunity Highlights
Inpatient Care
Adults only with general Med/Surg capacity
Six intermediate beds
Four bed open ICU to open within the next 9-12 months
Full spectrum internal medicine with procedures
Tele-ICU and tele-pulmonology support 24/7
Be a part of building a broad spectrum inpatient service at a critical access hospital
Procedural support and on‑boarding offered
Expanding tele‑services
All inpatient beds wired
Practice rural medicine with the flexibility of living near the coast
Candidate Qualifications
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Internal Medicine or Med‑Peds
Responsibilities & Duties
Rounding and admitting
Day shift, 7 on/7 off with other provider
