Overview
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a fellowship trained, BC/BE, Interventional Cardiologist to join the Cardiovascular Services team at our Baylor Scott & White Center for Advanced Medicine in Temple, Texas. Duties include coronary and peripheral interventions, complex interventions with hemodynamic support, attending on the CVICU service, STEMI coverage (1:4) and weekend call coverage. A passion to teach and work with general cardiology and interventional fellows in the clinic, cath lab and ICU is required.
Responsibilities
Perform coronary and peripheral interventions.
Conduct complex interventions with hemodynamic support.
Attend on CVICU service.
Provide STEMI coverage (1:4).
Participate in weekend call coverage (1:4).
Teach general cardiology and interventional fellows in clinic, cath lab and ICU.
Qualifications
Board‑certified in cardiovascular disease with additional fellowship training and board certification/eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
Doctorate Degree in Medicine.
Licensed to practice medicine in Texas by start date.
Board certified in primary specialty or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialists or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
Teaching residents/interventional fellows available with an academic appointment.
