About Vitae Health Systems Founded in 2018, Vitae Health Systems is one of the country’s largest and fastest‑growing providers of clinical services to residents of Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities. Headquartered in Chicago, IL, Vitae currently operates in 12 states and is rapidly expanding throughout the USA.
The Position As we continue to grow, we are looking for Podiatrists to provide Podiatric services to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout the Chicagoland area.
What You Will Do
Assess and diagnose foot, ankle, and lower leg problems through physical exams, x‑rays, laboratory tests, and other methods
Provide treatment for foot, ankle, and lower leg ailments
Advise, educate, and instruct patients on foot and ankle care and on general wellness techniques to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life
Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other providers and the facility’s interdisciplinary team
Refer patients to other providers or specialists if larger health problems (e.g., diabetes or vascular disease) are detected
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Prescribe necessary medications and treatments
Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Communicate with attending physicians and/or specialists regarding patient care
Be comfortable and proficient with documentation and CPT coding
Working with Vitae will provide you with
A healthy work‑life balance and flexibility. No overnight shifts or weekends required, though you may choose to work weekends or take days off during the week.
High referral volume with earning potential.
Compensation
Our Podiatrists are paid a percentage of revenue—the larger your caseload and workload, the more you can earn. More details will be shared during the interview process.

Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine
Ability to build rapport with patients and their loved ones
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership experience with emphasis on teamwork in a healthcare setting
