Job Summary
A major regional healthcare system, which includes a Level II trauma center, is seeking a
General Neurologist
to join its hospital-employed physician group. This is an
Outpatient-Only
position offering exceptional work-life balance.
Physicians will see patients in a dedicated, hospital-based outpatient clinic. This role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including neurosurgeons and other neuroscience specialists, to provide comprehensive patient care. Opportunities to mentor medical students and residents are also available.
Practice Highlights
Schedule:
Day shift, Monday-Friday.
Focus:
100% Outpatient Neurology.
Collaboration:
Work within a Neuroscience team that utilizes advanced services like Interventional Neuroradiology and teleneurology.
Teaching:
Opportunity to precept medical students and residents.
Required Qualifications
Licensure:
Active, unrestricted Alabama medical license (MD/DO) and DEA certification.
Board Status:
Must be
Board Certified
or
Board Eligible
in Neurology.
Preferred Qualifications
Post-graduate training or experience in EMG/NCV (Electromyography/Nerve Conduction Velocity).
