Director Regulatory & Accreditation
Location: Menomonee Falls, WI – Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital facility, United States.
Job Type: Full‑time, Hybrid; FTE: 1.0; Standard Hours: 40.00; Shift: Shift 1.
Job Summary The Director of Regulatory Compliance and Accreditation is responsible for leading and overseeing regulatory readiness, accreditation compliance, and survey preparedness across the health system. This individual ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as with accreditation standards (e.g., The Joint Commission, DNV, CMS, OSHA). The Director partners with operational leaders to promote a culture of continuous readiness and patient safety.
Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in patient safety, risk management, regulatory/accreditation, or quality improvement within a healthcare setting. Leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare system is preferred.
Education Master’s Degree in a healthcare or related business field is required. Nursing Degree is preferred.
Training In-depth knowledge of regulatory/accreditation, performance improvement, safety and quality outcomes indicators, and the ability to interpret relevant regulations.
Special Skills Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements, including CMS Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission, and DNV standards. Ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable process improvement initiatives. Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills. Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities to address regulatory/accreditation challenges. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to influence and engage multidisciplinary teams in survey readiness efforts. Prior experience working in an academic medical center or within a highly matrixed complex healthcare delivery organization is preferred.
