Key Responsibilities Provides strong commercial portfolio program management.

Oversees and manages the commercial portfolio of projects which includes those for our commercial products, the launch readiness teams for post-POC programs & projects for general commercial business operations & initiatives.

Facilitates development and manages execution of fully-integrated product launch and continued commercialization plans

Translates Strategy into Action: Partners with brand leadership and cross-functional teams to convert high-level business strategies into fully integrated, executable operational plans.

Aligns Teams Around Shared Vision and Goals: Facilitates the development of a unified vision and aligned business objectives, helping teams identify critical success drivers and potential barriers, and design targeted initiatives to address them.

Optimizes Cross-Functional Planning: Identifies linkages and potential gaps across functions, supporting teams in refining plans through strong prioritization, decision-making, and execution alignment.

Champions Proactive Risk Management: Ensures teams establish and maintain comprehensive risk management plans and progress mitigation / contingency efforts as needed.

Drives Issue Resolution and Escalation: Supports teams in resolving challenges as they arise, ensuring timely communication and escalation when necessary to maintain momentum and accountability.

Facilitates Governance and Performance Reviews: Conducts routine reviews of project execution and brand performance within the team, ensuring adherence to governance structures such as steering committees and/or other review processes.

Maintains Program Timelines and Communication Tools: Develops and manages tools that support clear communication, timeline tracking, and integrated logistical operations across the business and with senior leadership.

Facilitates development and manages execution of plans/teams for complex multi-disciplinary commercial business initiatives with the same principles as noted above for the products.

Partners with teams and leadership to supports the development and delivery of clear, concise, and impactful commercial business updates that inform strategic decision-making and drive organizational alignment.

Supports key commercial forums and optimizes them to meet the needs of the business.

Fosters professional growth and advancement of team members

Leads and mentors team members and director reports in a manner which cultivates an enterprise mindset, high-performance and a collaborative team culture.

Champions operational excellence and drives process improvement

Drives continuous improvement by establishing and standardizing best practices for program management across our commercial portfolio.

Leads the implementation of advanced processes, systems and technologies to improve rigor and transparency in program planning &/or reporting leading to enhance decision making and communication within the commercial organization and to other key stakeholders / partners across the business.

Supports change management initiatives, ensuring successful organizational integration of new processes/tools.

Qualifications Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

BS in a scientific, business or related technical field, with an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.

12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a focus on program or project management, commercial operations and/or marketing.

Significant experience leading late-stage drug development, launch or commercialization programs and/or complex commercial business initiatives.

Demonstrated history of driving business transformation and achieving commercial and operational excellence.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.

Actively seeks feedback and possesses a growth mindset; is open to learning from new perspectives.

Strong strategic and financial acumen, including budget management and forecasting.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.

Expert knowledge of project management best practices (e.g., Agile, PMP) and tools (MS Project, MS Excel; knowledge of systems such as Planview and/or SmartSheets would be beneficial).

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $223,170 – $253,880. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual performance pay bonus.
