Role Overview DOSS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solutions Consultant to join our growing Sales team. As a core member of a small, new operations cloud and adaptive ERP company, you will be instrumental in demonstrating the value of our flexible, configurable platform, which features strong integrations, workflows, native AI applications, and an advanced data layer. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, consulting prowess, and solution‑selling foundations, serving as the trusted advisor bridging complex customer needs with our innovative product capabilities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, autonomous startup environment while leveraging experience gained at more established organizations.
Experience and Background
Years of Experience:
5-8 years in a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineering, or equivalent customer‑facing technical role.
Domain Expertise:
Proven experience working with ERP or ERP‑adjacent cloud software solutions.
Technical Foundation:
Strong background in technical or engineering disciplines, coupled with consulting experience, enabling you to speak to both technical and business audiences.
Organizational Acumen:
Demonstrated success as a Solutions Consultant at both large, established software companies and smaller, fast‑growing organizations or startups.
Preferred Company Background:
Experience at companies such as Netsuite, Sage Intacct, or Workday is highly desirable to expedite onboarding.

Solution Selling Foundations:
Deep understanding and application of solution‑selling methodologies, focusing on value‑based demonstrations and aligning platform capabilities to strategic business outcomes.
Business Acumen:
Strong commercial and operational understanding to grasp the complexities of customer environments and articulate the ROI of the DOSS adaptive ERP.
Builder Mindset:
Passion for building, hands‑on with the product, and designing custom solutions during the sales process.
Proactive & Autonomous:
Self‑starter, highly autonomous, and desire to actively "do the work" without constant oversight.
Curiosity:
Deeply curious mindset, always seeking to understand new customer challenges, product features, and market dynamics.
Location Must be based in San Francisco (SF) or the greater Bay Area.
Roles and Responsibilities The Solutions Consultant will be a critical part of the sales ecosystem, responsible for translating complex customer challenges into compelling solutions with the DOSS platform.
Strategic Sales Partnership:
Collaborate closely with Account Executives as a technical co‑pilot throughout the entire sales cycle, acting as the subject matter expert on the DOSS solution and its application to customer operations.
Vertical and Segment Focus:
Spearhead solution‑selling efforts within key verticals, primarily Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Manufacturing, targeting mid‑market companies with annual revenues between $50M and $500M.
Comprehensive Sales Cycle Support:
Own the technical narrative from initial engagement through to successful handover, including:
Discovery:
Conduct in‑depth needs analysis to gain a profound understanding of the customer’s current state (business, people, process, and technology).
Demonstration:
Design and deliver highly customized, value‑driven product demonstrations that directly align DOSS’ adaptive ERP capabilities with the customer’s strategic requirements and desired outcomes.
Implementation Hand‑off:
Ensure a seamless transition into the implementation phase by thoroughly documenting the technical landscape and critical business requirements needed for a successful go‑live and sustained value realization.
Compensation Structure The compensation package is highly competitive and designed to attract top‑tier talent.
On‑Target Earnings (OTE):
$350,000
Base/Variable Split:
60% Base / 40% Variable
Equity:
Comprehensive Stock/Equity plan.
