Agency Owner Overview This opportunity is for self‑motivated, results‑driven business people who want to build a profitable, multi‑line insurance agency. You’ll bring industry‑relevant experience and sufficient capital to deliver AAA‑level service. You’ll grow an agency that serves new and prospective AAA members, selling property and casualty, life insurance, AAA memberships, and other products to a loyal client base.

Agency Owner Requirements

Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance licensing preferred but not required. If you lack them, you must be willing to obtain them at the candidate’s expense.

Review and completion of the Business Plan/Cash‑flow analysis (AAA assists throughout).

Earning & Development: a 4‑week, 100% virtual training/live instructor class.

AA‑branded office – must be approved office space.

75 k proof of investable capital (not a franchise fee; proof of funds available for investment into your own business, must be seasoned for 60 days).

Must pass background check – criminal history and credit/financial check.

Products Include

AA Membership: Offer programs for autos, bicycles, RVs and motorcycles. Members value roadside assistance and over 126,000 savings opportunities for dining, shopping, hotels, rentals, travel events and auto care.

Property and Casualty Insurance: Sell Auto, Home, Renters, Umbrella, Flood, RV, Boat, Motorcycle, Specialty Vehicles and Commercial Lines. Access brokered products from multiple national and regional A‑rated carriers to serve diverse needs (varies by state).

Life Insurance: Sell Term, Universal Life, Whole Life and Annuities. AAA Life Insurance Company (founded 1969, affiliated with AAA) holds an A‑rating (Excellent), the 4th highest among 16 carriers per A.M. Best as of September 2016.
