As the primary point of contact, you will support all field processes related to future hotel openings, a select portfolio of openings or transitions, and lead projects to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and performance of hotel openings. Your role is critical in ensuring hotels open on time and in accordance with brand standards.

Your day to day

Act as the primary liaison between the Franchisee/General Manager and all related internal personnel to ensure consistent communication during the opening process.

Provide phone consultation throughout the New Hotel Opening Process, answering questions and coordinating details, proactively managing the pipeline, and triaging obstacles with cross‑functional IHG partners.

Develop and implement procedures for New Hotel Opening (NHOP) timelines, maintain tracking systems, and generate weekly/monthly reports to evaluate progress and identify improvement areas.

Review and enhance training programs with IHG Training, Operations Support and field staff to address current legal requirements and initiatives.

Consult with key managerial groups and personnel to identify barriers to success, maintain solid client relationships with Principal Correspondents and hotel managers.

Prepare and submit recaps of consulting visits to hotel ownership and management; provide information to internal stakeholders including FPS management, field staff, Commercial and Revenue Management.

Monitor and identify needed changes to existing tactical and strategic plans for hotels.

Answer inbound inquiries and requests from owners and hotel leadership across all areas of the hotel opening process; work with internal departments for resolution.

Conduct outbound calls with key hotel personnel to support groundbreaking and construction milestones; monitor all IHG interactions with hotels and ownership/management within assigned portfolio.

What We Need From You

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Hotel Management or a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator) preferred.

5 to 7 years of progressive hotel industry experience, demonstrating proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position.

Experience managing cross‑functional teams, both with and without direct hierarchical authority.

Project management experience in a matrix organization overseeing multiple business units.

Previous experience within an international or global organization.

Experience organizing, planning, and executing large‑scale projects from conception through implementation in a hotel environment, with strong attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with GMs and hotel contacts, and apply conflict resolution, negotiation, and persuasion skills.

Comprehensive knowledge of hotel performance assessment and the use of strategic tools to improve performance.

Knowledge of construction processes and procedures to assess building progress and communicate realistic timelines.

Knowledge of training principles and procedures, and experience in preparing, implementing, and delivering training programs.

Proficiency in Property Management Systems and Revenue Management Systems.

Travel 80 % required.

Location Remote; candidate should reside in the Dallas, TX area.

Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $106,000.00 – $115,000.00. Eligible for bonus pay as applicable. Comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and other benefits.
