Inside Specialty Pharmacy Sales Representative

Position Summary The Inside Specialty Pharmacy Sales Representative will promote specialty pharmacy services to health care providers, achieving growth of referrals and prescriptions with specified therapies. The role focuses on building mutually beneficial relationships with targeted accounts and maximizing sales through collaboration with teammates.
Responsibilities
Grow relationships with key prescriber offices to increase referral volume
Develop and present business reviews and related matters
Communicate with prescriber offices to promote Orsini services
Analyze accounts’ near‑term and long‑term objectives and promote consideration of Orsini service offerings
Provide timely feedback on prescriber accounts to management regarding opportunities or matters affecting referral volume
Integrate with various Orsini teams and departments (e.g., Sales Team, Admissions, PA, Operations, and Therapy Management) to drive new referrals
Analyze market trends and opportunities
Deliver accurate and meaningful information, features/benefits to healthcare professional offices by phone
Utilize advanced listening and decision‑making skills
Understand and convey complex product and service information professionally in real‑time environments
Accept and apply coaching and feedback quickly to improve performance and customer experience
Manage multiple tasks, actively listen to callers’ needs while navigating CRM and providing accurate information
Maintain a strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
Show flexibility to meet fluctuating business needs
Required Qualifications
4‑year degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 2 years of sales experience with documented sales success
Minimum 1 year of inside sales experience
Experience in specialty pharmacy, pharmaceuticals, or medical device (preferred)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated competencies: emotional intelligence, action‑oriented, drive for results, sales persuasion, dedication, perseverance, ingenuity, adaptability
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong negotiating, networking, and verbal communication skills
Strong problem‑solving skills with ability to work cross‑functionally
The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $37,900.00 – $94,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on job‑related qualifications, location, schedule, and other factors. Incentive plans, bonuses, and additional compensation may be offered, along with a range of health and welfare benefits.
