Dental Assistant-Sterile Processing (Cert)
Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Dental Assistant with sterile processing experience to support residents and students in providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to multi‑task, and a strong understanding of sterilization procedures.

Dental Assistant‑Sterile Processing (Cert)
Location:
Brooklyn, New York
Pay Range:
$28‑32 per hour
What's the Job?
Provide oral surgical assistance to dental residents and students.
Operate sterilizers and administer sterilization processes for all surgical instrumentation and patient care equipment.
Assist in the administration of IV sedation and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
Provide pre‑op and post‑op instructions to patients.
Ensure familiarity with correct materials for packaging, wrapping, and sterilization methods of all instrument sets and trays.
What's Needed?
2+ years of related experience in a dental setting.
Graduate of a Dental Assistant Training Program.
Knowledge of four‑handed chairside dental techniques and dental lab equipment.
1–2 years of experience including oral surgery with IV sedation/general anesthesia.
Valid Sterile Processing Technician Certification.
