Hematology/Oncology Physician (MD/DO) | MUSC Orangeburg Hollings Cancer Center | Orangeburg, SC Job Overview The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking board‑certified or board‑eligible Hematology/Oncology physicians to help grow a newly established, community‑based practice located in Orangeburg, SC. Physicians in this clinical practice will coordinate patient care and manage the treatment of cancer diagnoses in collaboration with providers in MUSC’s Division of Hematology & Oncology located at Hollings Cancer Center (HCC).

Key Responsibilities • Coordinate and manage the treatment of hematologic and solid tumor malignancies following National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines. • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, and supportive care specialists. • Participate in patient case discussions, tumor boards, and quality improvement initiatives. • Precept and mentor medical trainees and residents in Hematology/Oncology. • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date electronic health records and documentation.

Qualifications • MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical Hematology/Oncology setting. • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient‑centered care. • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative practice team. • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with advances in oncology treatment.
