A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep, and Occupational Medicine in the Department of Medicine. This position will be involved in a combined applied and methodological genetics project. This project will focus on the development and implementation of ancestry (admixture) based detection and characterization of genetic and environmental exposure risk factors in asthma. Key functions will include: Key Functions

Perform genome-wide admixture and association analysis, implement ancestry-environmental exposure interaction analysis, data simulation and imputation. Participate in development and testing statistical methods for admixed human datasets. Omics (genome, transcriptome, microbiome, epigenome) data integration and functional (ENCODE, Roadmap Epigenomics, GTEx) data mining.
