Base pay range $60.00/hr - $75.00/hr
Backend Java/AWS Engineer - 2 weeks in office every month (Merrimack, NH)
Full-time | Hybrid
You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java and Spring frameworks
Build and scale services on AWS, leveraging EKS and serverless technologies
Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for seamless deployment and integration
Work with event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar messaging technologies
Design and optimize databases with DynamoDB and CockroachDB (both relational and non-relational)
Implement and support FIX protocol integrations for financial systems
Collaborate in Agile sprints, participate in code reviews, and document technical solutions
You Have
3+ years of professional experience in backend development with Java and Spring
Strong experience with AWS infrastructure (EKS, Lambda, and related services)
Hands-on expertise in CI/CD automation with Jenkins
Proficiency in event-driven systems (Kafka or comparable technologies)
Database experience with DynamoDB and CockroachDB (or similar)
Understanding of FIX protocol for financial integrations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Bonus: AWS certifications, experience with microservices architecture, familiarity with financial systems or trading platforms
