Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Specialist Lead Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale data environments, ensuring data integrity, and enabling enterprise-level data solutions. This role requires both technical leadership and hands‑on expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise data systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards are met across all enterprise data initiatives.

Develop and enforce data management best practices, including metadata management, master data management (MDM), and data lifecycle management.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior data engineers and analysts.

Optimize and troubleshoot ETL/ELT processes, database performance, and data integration workflows.

Work closely with IT, analytics, and business teams to support reporting, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives.

Stay updated with emerging data technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Drive enterprise data strategy and participate in technology roadmap planning.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

12+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or enterprise data management.

Strong expertise in relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.

Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage, Apache Nifi).

Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python, Shell, or Java).

Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.

Proven experience leading technical teams and managing enterprise‑scale projects.

Preferred Skills

Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.

Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Familiarity with AI/ML data pipelines and analytics frameworks.

Experience with master data management (MDM) and data quality tools.

Strong problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
