Pay Range: $65 - $70/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable serverless applications using AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and AWS Batch.
Implement automation solutions for Google Workspace to improve user and administrator productivity.
Develop and enhance backend APIs and microservices in Python ensuring security, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, platform engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and continuously enhance system monitoring and observability.
Apply software engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, version control, and documentation.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience
Strong proficiency in Python for backend software engineering.
Experience building cloud-native applications using AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Batch).
Understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven workflows, and API development.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Git, code reviews).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of Google Workspace APIs and automation frameworks.
Experience with enterprise-level collaboration technologies and identity/access management.
Exposure to monitoring, logging, and deployment automation tools.
