Mission We are looking for a skilled Senior Unified Communications Specialist to design, build, test, document, and support a robust Microsoft Teams Voice deployment across an extensive environment of over 800 sites, including legacy Avaya, Nortel, VOIP telephony, and other voice services.

Responsibilities

Oversee deployment activities for Microsoft Teams Telephony across the enterprise.

Manage and troubleshoot Avaya and Microsoft Teams Telephony.

Oversee all engineering activities related to Unified Communications configuration and ensure proper endpoint connectivity.

Resolve technical issues, troubleshoot performance problems, and ensure efficient operations.

Ensure solutions are configured and optimized to meet business needs.

Maintain and support EVoIP (Enterprise Voice over IP) systems for peak performance.

Provide back‑end engineering support for troubleshooting and resolving T4 tickets related to telephony issues.

Provide business process modeling and reengineering support.

Provide secure reach‑back support.

Align technical strategies with business needs.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship required.

Must possess an active TS clearance at the time of application, be willing and able to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph.

Role is onsite 5 days/week in Washington, DC.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related IT Management, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.

8+ years of computer science experience and engineering for Unified Communications Systems.

Deep understanding of Avaya/Cisco/Managed Secure Telephony Platform (MSTP)/Microsoft TAC/Power BI.

Experience working in an Agile organization using SAFe.

Compensation and Benefits Salary: $128,692 – $139,579 per year.
