Your main responsibilities Customer Account Management:
Build and manage favorable client relationships within a designated sales territory to secure and renew service agreements. Handle customer inquiries and ensure satisfactory resolution with a focus on revenue generation. Meet regularly with clients to understand their business requirements and develop solutions to meet the needs of their property. Manage and oversee the accounts receivable of your assigned portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with both customers and internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of sales objectives. Partner daily with the Field Superintendent and technicians to drive lead generation and ensure an excellent total customer experience from initiation through delivery.
Sales & Opportunity Identification:
Identify and pursue sales opportunities through key customer contacts and industry information. Qualify customer needs to secure profitable solutions leveraging company products and services. Introduce new technology and associated services to customers, clearly illustrate the value that these products and services offer customers.
Negotiation & Strategy:
Negotiate contract terms favorable to the company while also delivering on customer requirements. Develop and implement sales strategies that align with internal product strategies and competitive market conditions with minimal supervision.
Documentation & Compliance:
Prepare estimates and communicate proposals to customers. Maintain accurate customer records and files in accordance with company procedures. Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
What you bring
Bachelor's Degree
2 years B2B sales experience in the elevator or related industry
Customer Account Management (5-10 years): proficiency in building and managing client relationships, handling challenging inquiries, and focusing on revenue generation.
Negotiation & Strategy (5-10 years): experience negotiating contract terms and developing sales strategies aligned with customer needs and Schindler values, compliant with regulations.
Sales & Closing Skills (5-10 years): proficiency in closing deals, qualifying customers, and introducing new services and technology.
Effective communication skills for customer and stakeholder engagement.
Leadership (5-10 years): guidance and support to junior sales managers and representatives.
Strong presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent time management, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
Motivated, resilient, customer‑focused mindset aligned with Schindler values.
Experience with SAP and a results‑driven mindset in a competitive sales environment.
Ability to handle a mix of office and field work, with flexibility for travel and managing customer interactions.
