Entry into strategic public affairs work – support our advocacy efforts while learning policy tracking and crisis coordination. Provide a detail‑oriented backbone that helps keep our reputation strong and our leaders well‑informed. What You’ll Do
Support the operational execution of public affairs and issues management with a focus on compliance, policy tracking, and internal coordination. Contribute to crisis response efforts and help maintain our organizational reputation through timely intelligence and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
Support public affairs operations including scheduling, documentation, and coordination
Monitor emerging issues and regulatory changes, turning them into actionable insights
Assist with crisis communications to ensure timely updates across departments
Facilitate collaboration between public affairs, legal, and communications teams
Maintain accurate records of advocacy activities and prepare leadership reports
Create policy briefs, talking points, and stakeholder engagement materials
Perform other duties as assigned
Comply with all policies and standards
Qualifications
3‑5 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, communications, or a related field
Experience with policy monitoring, research, and analysis
Background in coordinating cross‑functional projects and initiatives
Familiarity with government processes and regulatory environments
Experience creating briefing materials and reports for leadership
Healthcare, education, or regulated industry experience a plus
Skills
Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent written communication and documentation abilities
Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
Salary and Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is between $72,000 and $128,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job‑related factors permitted by law, such as experience, location, and responsibility.
