Project Sales Specialist

– on-site in Honolulu, HI. Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Salary Range: $70,800 - $96,733 annually. This salary reflects the primary location; actual range may differ based on location.
What You Will Do
Effectively review and evaluate architectural and electrical drawings
Read and review lighting specifications
Foster and maintain excellent working relationships internally with project managers and outside sales reps
Interact with manufacturers and factory sales reps to produce competitive and timely pricing
Determine costs and sell amounts to maintain appropriate margins
Interact with contractors to follow up on pricing
Compile and analyze information from vendors
Ensure bid is inclusive of all mandatory requirements
Identify and review terms and dating purchase orders
Provide a complete and accurate quotation within the required timeframe
Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships
Stay current with new product information and emerging technologies
What You Will Bring
3+ years lighting quotations/estimating experience required; multi-unit experience preferred
Knowledge of lighting supply chain
Solid understanding of lighting vendor/manufacturer/representative networks
Proven outstanding customer service and support skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management, planning and organizational skills
Ability to assess and prioritize with flexibility to change course as needed
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
Proven problem resolution and decision-making skills
Ability to learn products and processes quickly
Professional demeanor
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word & Excel)
Ability to work well independently and in team settings
High School diploma or GED
Strong and dependable mathematical skills
Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels
Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
Use of PPE as required
Mix of warehouse and office work environments
Location:
This role is on-site in the Honolulu branch
Work hours:
