Beauty Co‑Lab (BCL) is a bespoke unit of Omnicom Media Group that delivers an industry‑leading agency solution for L’Oréal USA, driving business growth and transformation through data, technology, and omnichannel strategies.
External Facing Responsibilities
Partner with Planning & Investment teams to provide expert hands‑on Data Science support across the entire campaign lifecycle.
Build advanced ML models to cluster and segment audiences, scale and deploy custom audiences across various platforms and publishers.
Run descriptive and diagnostic analyses to measure campaign performance within clean rooms and/or other analytics platforms (e.g., Google ADH, Facebook advanced analytics, Amazon Marketing Cloud).
Demonstrate strong project management skills, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and knowing when to ask for help.
Leverage technical (coding) expertise to bring about process efficiencies.
Internal Facing Responsibilities
Contribute to building decks and reports that translate analytical results to internal and client teams.
Contribute to building the DS Practice knowledge repository via decks, documents, and other artifacts.
Lead and train managers and other junior team members.
Required Skills
Hands‑on programming language skills (SQL, Python, R, etc.).
Intermediate exposure to machine learning techniques, causal models, etc. for analytical support.
Advanced presentation and communication skills.
Some experience working with non‑technical teams.
Knowledge of digital clean rooms and related concepts and strategy.
Certifications in Meta (Blueprint), SQL, Python, R (online) are desirable.
Demonstrated domain knowledge of business/industry.
Education and Experience
University degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, or related field, and 5–7 years of experience in informatics work in academia, advertising, management consulting, marketing or digital consulting.
Knowledge of agency‑side execution process is desirable, but not required.
Compensation and Benefits Compensation Range: $90,000—$145,000 USD (based on relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location). Benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, vacation and sick days, personal days, paid parental and medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance.
Work Arrangement This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely, with specific in‑office days discussed during the interview process. Flexibility may be adjusted over time based on business needs.
