Overview
Vice President, IT (Business Transformation) position at Regeneron leads strategic transformation and daily operational management of IT functions supporting manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
Lead global IT functions such as Application Management, Infrastructure, Data, Digital Products, Software Development, Compliance, and Security to ensure high system performance for manufacturing‑critical systems. Partner with function leaders to plan and execute transformation of key processes and core systems (MES, LIMS, eQMS, ERP, etc.) to deliver significant uplift in operational performance. Collaborate with core business functions to design and implement digital data solutions enabling business intelligence and advanced analytics. Ensure alignment to FDA, cGMP, and global regulations while mitigating IT risks. Partner with Corporate IT for enterprise alignment while maintaining operations‑specific independence. Build and develop a high‑performing global IT team, encouraging continuous improvement and outsourcing non‑critical work as needed. Manage IT budgets and vendor relationships for seamless system integration and cost optimization. Represent IT in Site Management teams and communicate progress to collaborators.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field. 20+ years of experience in IT and business operations/transformation; biotechnology/pharmaceutical experience is a plus. Led implementation and migration of core IT systems in operations and other business‑critical functions. Successfully digitized and automated processes, integrated data, and developed business intelligence and AI solutions. Led global teams that include IT and business partners, managing dual operational/strategic responsibilities and driving cross‑functional change initiatives. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across all organizational levels.
