We’re looking for a Windows Systems Engineer who is highly skilled in enterprise Windows administration, Azure environments, and virtualization. You’ll own configurations, deployments, AD/Azure identity management, virtualization management, backup/recovery operations, and escalated support across a fast‑paced environment. What You’ll Do
Design and deploy Windows server environments
Build and configure Windows 2012–2022 servers to support enterprise workloads and evolving business needs.
Manage Azure AD / Entra ID and cloud services
Administer authentication policies, MFA/SSO, virtual machines, storage, networking, and supporting Azure IaaS/PaaS workloads.
Lead system upgrades, migrations, and modernization efforts
Support Azure migration work, on‑prem server refreshes, and lifecycle initiatives across infrastructure components.
Administer virtualization platforms
Manage Hyper‑V and VMware environments to ensure scalability, performance, and efficiency.
Maintain system stability and security
Monitor, patch, tune, and remediate issues across Windows infrastructure, enforcing best practices and compliance requirements.
Perform backup and recovery operations
Execute daily backup tasks, validate recovery processes, and ensure continuity readiness.
Provide advanced (Tier 2/3) technical support
Troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, AD, networking, and cloud systems while documenting root cause and resolutions.
Automate with PowerShell
Develop scripts to streamline deployments, maintenance, and operational processes.
Develop and maintain documentation
Create runbooks, configuration guides, diagrams, and operational procedures.
Participate in on‑call rotations and operational monitoring
Support after‑hours incidents, daily checks, and proactive system health analysis.
What You Bring
5+ years of hands‑on Windows system engineering or enterprise administration experience
Strong experience with
Azure AD/Entra ID , Office 365, and Azure IaaS/PaaS services
Proficiency managing
Hyper‑V, VMware , and virtualized enterprise environments
Applied expertise with Windows Server
2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
Strong PowerShell automation experience
Experience with SCCM, Intune, imaging, scripting, and endpoint management tools
Ability to design, document, and implement secure, scalable infrastructure solutions
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and performance optimization skills
Experience leading upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure enhancements
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and ability to manage competing priorities
U.S. work authorization + valid driver’s license (TWIC required)
Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree
