Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields. Experience in one or more of the following areas: Big Data, Cloud, Data Analytics, Databases, Distributed Databases, Generative AI, Query Processing, Software Architecture. Experience building and shipping large-scale service. Experience in high availability designs and parallel/horizontal scale-out system architectures. Experience building transaction processing systems or larger scale analytics. Ability to foster product quality and collaboration, overseeing engineering projects that encompass critical feature launches and research initiatives. About the Job

Manage the challenges of shipping and help build the next generation of data and AI infrastructure in the fluid Generative AI (GenAI) space. Design, develop, and own features in BigQuery. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver new capabilities from initial concept to final launch. Enhance the performance, reliability, and overall health of our production environment and improve the code base. Participate in design reviews and share knowledge with the team.
