About the Role
The Las Vegas, NV office of Lewis Brisbois, a full‑service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Labor & Employment Practice.
The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in Nevada and have at least seven (7) years of experience in employment law matters.
Prior employment litigation experience is required (preferably on the management side), and employment counseling or in‑house employment law experience is preferred.
This role requires extensive client contact, coordination with governmental agencies, and collaboration with opposing counsel.
Lewis Brisbois’ Labor & Employment Practice represents clients nationwide in all phases of employment litigation, counseling, and training.
Our team of employment professionals is spread across the United States and provides consistent representation throughout the nation.
Responsibilities
Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings.
Drafting and arguing motions.
Taking and defending depositions.
Managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Providing extensive legal support to clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications
Admission to practice in Nevada.
At least seven (7) years of employment law experience.
Required prior employment litigation experience, preferably on the management side.
Experience in employment counseling or in‑house employment law is preferred.
Strong writing and analytical skills; self‑starter capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated interest in labor and employment law and substantive litigation experience.
