Key Roles

Clinical Quality and Patient Safety: Champion SCAH’s HRO Journey with responsibility to ensure leaders, teams, and physicians achieve clinical excellence and drive zero harm through adoption and standardization of Clinical Quality standards.

Facility Partnership Performance: Leads, mentors and develops a high‑performing facility team of clinical and operational professionals focused on clinical quality outcomes, volume growth drivers, labor efficiencies and operational excellence.

Support Teammates: Leads, mentors and develops a high‑performing facility team of clinical and operational professionals focused on clinical quality outcomes, volume growth drivers, labor efficiencies and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Drive excellent clinical quality and sustain a zero patient harm culture.

Collaborate with physicians to meet patient needs and exceed patient expectations.

Build and manage a team of high‑performing clinicians to deliver excellent patient care.

Partner with Medical Executive Committee, Governing Body, and Board of Managers in developing clinical guidelines and implementing the center’s response to evolving community needs.

Develop and maintain a team of clinical and business professionals focused on clinical quality outcomes, volume growth drivers, labor efficiencies, supply chain management, and revenue cycle optimization.

Hire, develop, and retain high-performing personnel.

Provide teammates with authority, accountability, training, information, and resources to achieve their full potential.

Communicate clear expectations and develop confidence within the team.

Create a vision and momentum that leads others to embrace change.

Build a highly committed management team at the center.

Assess, attract, retain, and develop personnel to meet performance expectations and future needs.

Handle on‑site personnel matters and resolve complaints fairly and promptly.

Drive top‑line growth and cultivate strong physician relationships.

Own and account for organic top‑line growth via increased volume, strategic service line growth, new physician recruitment, and expanding volume from existing physicians.

Design and execute physician recruitment and marketing programs.

Maintain strong physician relationships to support topline growth and partnership interests.

Recommend and execute short‑ and long‑term strategic plans that drive best‑in‑class clinical, financial, and operational results.

Partner with regional leads to design and implement growth initiatives and operational effectiveness opportunities.

Lead operational excellence and manage the center’s P&L.

Implement and maintain strategic business plans aligned with local market dynamics.

Collaborate with corporate departments to identify best practices in clinical quality, volume growth, and operational excellence.

Safeguard the center’s assets and ensure compliance with regulations.

Oversee facility management, life safety, and environment of care requirements.

Maintain operations in compliance with regulatory requirements and accrediting standards.

Support functions such as medical records, credentialing, admissions, billing, collections, insurance verification, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications Education Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience will be considered.

Years of Experience:

Minimum of 1‑3 years in healthcare and 2+ years of leadership experience.

Preferred Experience:

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in ASC, outpatient, surgical site, and multi‑site healthcare settings.
