We are seeking a highly skilled
Technical Project Manager with strong Ariba Sourcing experience
to lead and coordinate end‑to‑end sourcing technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs with technical execution, manage cross‑functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of sourcing projects within scope, timeline, and budget. This role requires deep knowledge of
SAP Ariba Sourcing , procurement processes, and integration workflows.
Responsibilities
Lead the full project lifecycle for Ariba Sourcing initiatives—from planning and requirements gathering to execution and deployment.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation.
Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables; ensure timely escalation and mitigation.
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with Procurement, Finance, IT, and external vendors to align on project objectives and requirements.
Facilitate cross‑functional meetings, workshops, and status updates.
Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
Technical Expertise
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for
SAP Ariba Sourcing
functionality, configurations, workflows, and integrations.
Collaborate with engineering/technical teams on Ariba integrations (ERP, SAP, third‑party tools).
Support system enhancements, test planning, UAT coordination, and deployment.
Process & Optimization
Document and optimize sourcing business processes, identifying automation and efficiency improvements.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, data governance, and system best practices.
Support change management, training, and user adoption activities.
Required Qualifications
5–8+ years of experience as a
Technical Project Manager , Program Manager, or IT Project Lead.
Strong hands‑on experience with
SAP Ariba Sourcing , including configurations, event creation, templates, approval workflows, and reporting.
Experience leading technology or procurement system implementations and upgrades.
Strong understanding of procurement, supplier management, and sourcing processes.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar PM tools.
