Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
2 years of experience taking products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1), specifically in Trust and Safety or infrastructure and platform solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with cross‑functional teams, including policy development, operations, and feature teams, within a T&S or adjacent organization.
Experience driving cross‑functional initiatives involving multiple product teams.
Familiarity with ML and detection, policy and compliance setting, system and platform understanding, or knowledge of APIs.
Ability to influence and communicate cross‑functionally with all levels of management.
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and presentation skills in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.

Cross Product Safety (XPS) at YouTube enables innovation by allowing features to launch safely and responsibly in a fast, easy way.
The XPS team advanced ML and LLM technologies to keep YouTube safe, and this role will interface with engineering teams to develop Trust and Safety capabilities for new features.
You will have a front seat to innovation, high visibility with executive leadership, and a pivotal responsibility of developing goals, strategy, and roadmaps for platform‑level product ideas to improve new‑feature onboarding to Trust and Safety.

The base salary range for this full‑time position is $156,000‑$229,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

Responsibilities
Evaluate the risk landscape of emerging YouTube features, identifying potential vulnerabilities and outlining impact assessments to ensure user safety from the outset.
Design and implement comprehensive Trust and Safety plans for new features where required, ensuring all initiatives meet and exceed our stringent safety standards and policy requirements.
Drive the successful execution of safety plans through seamless collaboration with Feature Teams, T&S Product and Engineering teams, Product Operations, technical program managers, and other key stakeholders.
Develop the goal and strategy for platform‑level product roadmaps that improve T&S efficiencies and reduce onboarding times for Feature Teams.
