Responsibilities :
Define the architecture for onboard flight software, ground-to-space comms, and autonomy interfaces.
Implement fault management, health monitoring, and state machines for distributed tile control.
Collaborate with avionics and GNC teams to close loops across EM actuation, sensing, and formation control.
Lead software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) verification campaigns.
Build the team and roadmap for scalable flight software from Demo Mission 1 through future missions.
Requirements :
5+ years in flight software or spacecraft autonomy roles.
Fluency in C / C++ and Python; experience with embedded RTOS and distributed systems.
Background in spacecraft FSW architectures, real-time comm protocols, or autonomy integration.
