Software Solutions Architect – Texas Instruments We are seeking a highly experienced Software Solutions Architect to join our Factory Scheduling & Simulation team. As a Software Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to support the team's mission to optimize factory scheduling and simulation for both wafer and backend manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop software architectures to support factory scheduling and simulation, including data pipelines, web applications, and simulation models

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions

Develop and implement software solutions using a variety of programming languages, including Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, and PHP

Ensure software solutions are scalable, efficient, and reliable

Collaborate with data engineers to integrate software solutions with data pipelines and architectures

Develop and maintain software documentation and metadata

Ensure software solutions meet security, quality, and compliance requirements

Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, including mentoring and coaching junior engineers

Coordinate solutions across business, data analysts, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and successful implementation

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements

Collaborate with data analysts to ensure that software solutions are data-driven and provide actionable insights

Partner with IT teams to ensure that software solutions are properly integrated with existing systems and infrastructure

Identify and mitigate technical risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project success

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, data analysts, and IT professionals

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on software architecture and design

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Proficiency in a variety of programming languages, including Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, and PHP

Experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Experience with data engineering, including data pipelines, architectures, and tools

Experience with full stack development, including front‑end and back‑end development

Experience with discrete event‑driven simulation

Experience in event‑driven architectures

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working with cross‑functional teams

Hands‑on experience with shop‑floor operations in both wafer and backend manufacturing, with a deep understanding of the production processes and challenges

Proven track record of successfully coordinating solutions across business, data analysts, and IT teams
