Software Development Engineer In Test

Responsibilities:
Analyzing and grooming the user story involving creation or modification of APIs.
Creating test cases based on scenarios to test changes in the API and executing the test cases to ensure proper functionality.
Handling automation by creating steps to procure data and validate API results.
Validating request and response of the APIs with backend data by writing SQL queries for MS SQL Server.
Performing web automation testing using Cucumber JVM and Maven, including modifying existing test cases or creating new ones based on manual test cases.
Contributing to sprint meetings (grooming, planning, retrospective) covering design and programming.
Handling smoke and functional testing of APIs and fixing issues regularly, including peer review of test cases.
Attending regular knowledge transfer sessions for learning and sharing technical tool knowledge required for different forms of testing.
