Drug Rebate Analyst - Remote US
Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Drug Rebate Analyst for this fully remote role. You will review Medicaid drug rebate payments, identify disputes, and negotiate resolutions with manufacturers to ensure accurate reimbursements and support Medicaid funding.
Responsibilities
Serve as a Drug Rebate Analyst responsible for reviewing Medicaid Drug Rebate payments
Identify, research, and resolve rebate disputes with accuracy and fairness
Play a critical role in securing outstanding balances from drug manufacturers
Support compliance with Medicaid guidelines, HIPAA, and Gainwell standards
Contribute to the financial integrity of state Medicaid programs through detailed analysis
Your role in our mission
Verify pharmacy and medical claims data with providers to support dispute resolution
Contact drug manufacturers to gather information and resolve rebate disputes
Research disputed pharmaceutical utilization and prepare resolution proposals
Negotiate with manufacturers to achieve timely and accurate payment outcomes
Track dispute resolution activities and maintain required productivity reports
What We're Looking For
Experience with Medicaid drug rebates, pharmacy claims processing, or medical billing (highly preferred)
Strong analytical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, PDF editing tools, and familiarity with systems such as PRIMS, SSRS Reports, or Process Manager
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, compliance, and collaborative working relationships
What You Should Expect In This Role
100% remote position, but you must reside in the United States

The pay range for this position is $31,400 - $44,800 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
