What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Lead and collaborate on diverse software projects including experiment management and modeling algorithm development

Translate novel research ideas into efficient and reliable code

Manage a large codebase, ensuring modular and maintainable software design

Proactively lead complex projects from requirements gathering to project delivery

Act as a technical leader for both research and engineering teams

What is Required (Qualifications)

Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience

Ability to collaborate with researchers and create scalable, maintainable software systems

Expertise in modern programming languages, specifically Python, R, and/or C/C++

Proficiency in developing software in a Linux environment with a focus on performance and correctness

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Previous experience with performance optimization of modeling code

Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries

Strong understanding of data science packages in Python and/or R
