Base pay range $70.00/hr - $75.00/hr

Senior Software Engineer (12-Month Contract) Location: Must reside within one of the following states: Arizona, Washington DC, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Maryland, New Jersey, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington, Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin.

Duration: 12 months - Contract

Position Summary We are partnering with a client to fill a 12-month contract role for a Senior Software Engineer. This position focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET technologies, SQL Server, and modern web frameworks—especially React. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, mission-critical solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using

ASP.NET Core ,

React , and

SQL Server

Implement

RESTful APIs

and integrate front-end/back-end components

Participate in the

Agile/Scrum

development lifecycle

Optimize application performance and scalability

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Mentor junior developers and promote best practices

Required Qualifications

5+ years

of professional web development experience

3+ years

with

.NET (C#)

and

ASP.NET Core/MVC

Solid understanding of

RESTful API design

Experience with

Git

or similar version control

Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with

Entity Framework

or other ORM tools

Familiarity with

Azure

or

AWS

Knowledge of

CI/CD pipelines

and

DevOps practices

Exposure to

Microsoft Power Platform
