Project Engineer
Brascia Builders, Inc. is a leading general contractor specializing in healthcare, commercial, institutional, industrial, and hospitality construction. We seek a motivated, flexible and dependable Project Engineer for our Long Beach, CA office.
Position Overview This full‑time role includes on‑site project management responsibilities with opportunities to advance to Assistant Project Manager, Superintendent, Project Manager, or executive positions based on performance and skillset.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain project schedules by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
Handle subcontractor interactions and build long‑term relationships.
Collaborate with subs, engineers, safety/quality teams to ensure high‑quality construction and deadlines are met.
Coordinate and attend meetings with external departments, gathering necessary information for project completion.
Report project status to department manager and stakeholders.
Control construction drawings, RFI tracking, site photo documentation, and other contract information.
Assist in preparation, tracking, and filing of construction documents.
Support vendor contract management, monitor schedule performance, and coordinate recoveries for variances.
Progressively assume project management duties.
Qualifications
Associate degree (required).
Minimum of 1 year project engineering experience (required).
