We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join SeatGeek’s Data Products team. This team is focused on building and delivering enterprise-level data solutions to major sporting and entertainment organizations throughout the world.
What You'll Do
Build software and tooling that powers our Enterprise Data Services - providing industry-leading data products and services to top sporting and entertainment organizations throughout the world
Mentor other engineers in the team and help them grow technically
Lead by example - produce clean, well tested code, thorough documentation, runbooks and operational excellence
Partner closely with a world-class Product Team to develop requirements for delivering complex data-driven products
Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the company to institute best practices aimed at managing data quality
What You Have
5+ years of experience with a track record in Analytics, Data Engineering or data focused products.
Expert-level knowledge of SQL and strong proficiency in programming with Python
Experience delivering data-driven products with enterprise-level operational excellence in mind
Experience interfacing with streaming data and data warehousing environments
Strong experience with DBT and Kafka

Dashboarding: Looker, Tableau & Hex
Code versioning: GitLab
Required languages: SQL and Python

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $200,000 USD. This role is also equity eligible. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
