Commercial Counsel - Leading Energy Company Base pay range: $170,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr

Our client is an industry leader in the energy sector, recognized for innovation and operational excellence. They are seeking a Commercial Counsel to join their legal team and provide strategic legal support across a broad range of commercial and transactional matters. This is a high‑impact role that will work closely with business leaders to enable growth while managing risk in complex commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Non‑Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), vendor and supplier contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), and equipment purchase and sale agreements.

Provide legal guidance on supply chain transactions, procurement initiatives, and vendor relationships to ensure compliance and protect company interests.

Partner with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, and procurement to support business objectives while mitigating legal risk.

Advise on contract interpretation, enforcement, and dispute resolution, and support transactional projects critical to the company's success.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

3‑7 years of experience in commercial law, ideally within the energy, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.

Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements with precision and business acumen.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
