Salary: $120,000 – $140,000.
Responsibilities
Lead Proposal Development – develop scope, schedule, cost estimates, methodology and pricing, preparing for a successful handoff from Business Development.
Manage Client Communication – ensure effective communication among client, project team, Business Development, and management, resolving scope, schedule, and cost issues.
Project Schedule and Plan – develop labor resource and procurement plans to meet schedule objectives and cash flow.
Drive Scope – maintain control of scope, ensure compliance with specifications and contracts, proactively seek Change Orders and additional scope opportunities.
Maintain Cost – develop and maintain project cost budgets, manage cost at completion, earned value, contingency and forecast monthly costs.
Lead the Project – guide the team achieve milestones on schedule and under budget, coordinate with Operations for optimal resource assignment, communicate progress, and mitigate risks.
Attend project walks, start‑ups, commissioning, and close‑out meetings.
Serve as an ambassador of E Tech Group’s Core Values, prioritizing success for the company, clients, and associate development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering or equivalent education/experience.
5+ years in control system engineering and project management.
Proficient in project management principles, methods, and tools.
Experience implementing Project Management Institute (PMI) standards.
Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams using technology.
Experience managing contracts and/or subcontractors.
Familiarity with industrial controls projects in food & beverage, life sciences, water/wastewater.
Experience with project budgeting and fiscal accountability.
Willing to travel 25‑30% for on‑site activities.
Collaboration and teamwork orientation.
Preferred
Controls Engineering background.
Experience with true design projects (EOR).
Experience implementing PMI standards.
