What You Will Do
Manage end-to-end delivery of U.S. individual and international tax compliance engagements, including Form 1040/1040NR, FinCEN 114, 8938, 5471, 8865, 8621, 8858, and 3520 series
Provide senior-level guidance on Global Mobility consultations, including complex home/host country comparative tax analyses and planning strategies
Advise clients on Streamlined Filing Procedures and other international tax compliance programs to help them achieve full legal conformity
Lead multi-jurisdictional teams, coordinating with domestic and foreign tax advisors to develop comprehensive global tax strategies
Cultivate strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for compliance and advisory needs
Drive innovation and process improvement across tax engagements by implementing leading technologies and best practices
Oversee training and mentorship programs for consultants and senior consultants, fostering technical growth and performance excellence
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field
7+ years of experience in public accounting tax or international tax
Current and valid CPA JD, or LLM
Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteAdvanced proficiency in tax software platforms, including GoSystem Tax RS or equivalent preparation technology
Proven ability to manage complex global engagements, lead teams, and deliver exceptional client service
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
Illinois Wage Transparency Pursuant to Illinois' Equal Pay Act, the salary range displayed is for the Illinois market. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Non‑exempt/hourly positions will be eligible for time and half pay for employees that work over 40 hours in a workweek. Benefits are eligibility-based and could include group health plan benefits, 401(K), bonuses, profit‑sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.
