Base pay range:
$135,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr

Overview Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead corporate tax strategy, compliance, and planning for a growing organization. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the executive team and a clear path to advancement. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a CPA background, and proven experience navigating complex tax environments within a dynamic business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and review federal and state tax returns for high net worth individuals, families, trusts, and partnerships
Oversee complex tax planning strategies including estate, gift, and multi-state considerations
Serve as primary point of contact for clients, delivering proactive guidance and tailored planning throughout the year
Review work prepared by staff and seniors, ensuring technical accuracy and timely delivery
Identify tax opportunities and risk areas for clients, including income deferral strategies, entity structuring, investment implications, and charitable planning
Conduct technical research on emerging tax issues that impact HNW clients and family offices
Coordinate with external advisors including attorneys, wealth managers, and investment professionals
Support IRS and state audit responses, documentation, and resolution
Mentor, train, and develop junior team members as the practice grows
Partner with firm leadership to refine service offerings and support business development initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA required or strongly preferred
6 to 12 years of progressive tax experience across nationally ranked public accounting
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations, ASC 740, and corporate tax planning
Experience in multi-entity or multi-state environments preferred
Ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate complex tax issues to non-technical stakeholders
Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
