Responsibility Areas 1. Accounting & Investment Management
Prepare monthly financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports for multiple entities
Maintain investment portfolio records and prepare monthly performance reports for corporate and individual accounts
Manage trust and GRAT accounts, monitor distributions, and ensure compliance with trust agreements
Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
Calculate profit-sharing, loan interest, and income distributions
Maintain lease accounting and fixed asset registers, including depreciation schedules
Oversee QuickBooks data for multiple LLCs and trust entities
2. Tax Compliance & Planning
Coordinate with external CPAs for annual tax filings and quarterly estimated tax calculations
Prepare and provide Form 1099 documentation to external CPAs
Prepare sales allocation, UNICAP, and tax adjustment workpapers for external CPA review
Prepare R&D credit documentation and tax benefit program workpapers
Prepare fringe benefit summaries and home office expense documentation for tax reporting
File or coordinate state and local compliance requirements (annual reports, sales tax, business tax returns)
Provide financial data and entity documentation for corporations, LLCs, trusts, and estate tax planning
Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for management review
Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations
Support research on investment opportunities and financial planning
Maintain estate planning documentation and flowcharts
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or investment management.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
Proficient in Excel, QuickBooks, and financial analysis tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA Certification
Work Hours: Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000 annually
