Job Family Finance – General
Job Overview Performs accounting, financial reporting and analysis functions for the Investment Reporting team within the Finance department. Responsible for applying financial analysis knowledge and judgment to activities that are diverse and complex.
Responsibilities
Extract financial data from various accounting and information systems to perform appropriate analyses, focusing on alternative asset and expected credit losses for the entire investments portfolio.
Analyze financial data, define relevant information, and interpret data to determine past performance and project future financial results, partnering with risk and asset managers.
Determine appropriate methodology to prepare information for use by others.
Interpret financial transactions and events for users and offer recommendations for economic or business decisions.
Proactively develop financial reports and complex models for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
Participate in monthly accounting processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Lead project teams or participate in project teams, including implementation of Clearwater Analytic’s LPx tool and GAAP reporting enablement.
Participate in due diligence activities.
Work effectively with other departments/divisions to resolve business issues.
Offer leadership and direction to others, and may supervise.
Apply broad knowledge of concepts and principles with independent judgment and minimal guidance.
Adhere to the company’s framework of internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience.
Advanced Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Solid knowledge of accounting/financial areas, especially investments and alternative assets.
Background with Oracle and Clearwater tools.
Effective communication skills, ability to handle multiple projects, customer service approach.
Teamwork and organizational prioritization skills.
Working Conditions
Hybrid (Tuesday – Thursday).
Fast‑paced, deadline‑driven office environment.
Occasional travel.
Compensation The salary for this position generally ranges between $78,000–$98,000 annually.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an annual bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
