Responsibilities
Assist customers with day‑to‑day financial needs such as cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan/credit card payments, wire transfers, and foreign currency exchange.
Document large deposits and currency transaction reports.
Identify and prevent fraudulent activity to protect the bank.
Maintain accurate and efficient transaction processing in compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Build strong relationships with existing customers and cultivate new relationships.
Cross‑sell and refer bank products such as depository, wealth management, and mortgage products that fit customer needs.
Utilize digital resources and technologies to optimize clients’ digital banking experience.
Educate clients on conducting banking transactions online, via mobile app, and through self‑service portals.
Demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt to new processes and technology platforms quickly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
1 year of recent customer service and cash handling experience.
1 year of previous teller or new account experience in a banking institution preferred.
Ability to learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Flexibility to work on weekends when needed.
Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $22.00/Hr. – USD $23.50/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
