Hybrid – Arlington, VA
A global mission-driven organization is seeking a
Director of FP&A
to lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and finance systems in a
multi-entity, multi-country
environment. This role partners closely with senior leadership across programs and regions and will shape how financial information supports strategic decision-making across the organization.
What You’ll Do
Lead strategic planning, annual budgeting, and multi-year forecasting.
Oversee financial analysis for global programs and country offices.
Manage financial dashboards and business intelligence tools.
Serve as product owner for finance systems (especially NetSuite).
Coach and support team members while strengthening financial processes.
Own budget processes across 30+ global entities and programs.
Build board-level and internal financial dashboards and reporting tools.
What You Bring
7–10+ years’ experience in FP&A or financial strategy (global or multi-entity experience a plus).
Background in nonprofits or grant-funded environments helpful.
Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills; advanced Excel required.
Experience with NetSuite budgeting/reporting and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
Strong communicator able to support and influence non-finance leaders.
Collaborative leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
