Job Summary This role will support Nassau Global Credit’s research team and portfolio managers with investment workout and due diligence as well as portfolio management and other duties. This individual will support investments across leveraged loans and high yield bonds in NGC’s strategies: CLOs, total return and opportunistic credit. In addition to leading our active restructurings and managing watchlist credits, this individual will serve as a research analyst with sector coverage and maintain the ability to recommend investments across strategies. In this role, it is expected that you will assist with a wide variety of routine and non‑routine duties related to investment research and management. Nassau Global Credit (“NGC”) is an institutional credit manager focused on tradable markets with a bottom‑up fundamental approach to investing, leveraging our industry expertise and active portfolio management. NGC is headquartered in New York, with offices in Connecticut and London, and manages $7bn across securitized, total return, and opportunistic credit. NGC is a subsidiary Nassau Asset Management and the larger Nassau Financial Group (“NFG”). This role is based in New York City with four or more days in the office.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in investment workout and research due diligence efforts:

Developing and executing strategies to navigate active restructurings and support control equity positions that maximize returns

Engaging and communicating with third‑party stakeholders such as banks, law firms, advisors, credit investors, equity sponsors and management teams

Identify, evaluate and provide recommendations on investment opportunities, including both new issues and existing portfolio holdings

Managing internal communication to global investment committees and other constituencies at Nassau Global Credit, including drafting of presentations and documents

Monitor portfolio of at‑risk (watch list) credits and aid research team with overall portfolio management:

Monitoring news and other relevant market information daily and updating portfolio managers, research teams and other constituencies

Managing at‑risk position recommendations based on market conditions and other factors

Supporting multiple strategies across both levered and unlevered investment vehicles

Aid in internal reporting and administration:

Preparing reports and analytics on holdings for Nassau Financial Group

Assisting operations and compliance teams with reporting and other tasks

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

7+ years of experience in liquid below investment grade corporate credit, with direct experience in loan workouts and restructurings, including chapter 11 bankruptcy

Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Demonstrated aptitude for credit research and related functions as well as experience reviewing and analyzing related legal documents

Self‑motivated and driven leader with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to form and summarize complex ideas

Proven track record of partnership and teamwork

Periodic travel required

Compensation Nassau maintains a holistic compensation philosophy focused on competitive base salaries, performance‑driven incentives, and unique professional development opportunities.
