We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineering (QE) Engineer to join our team in Plano, Texas, to help ensure that digital solutions are defect‑free and meet high quality standards.
Core Responsibilities
Develop automated tests to validate pattern implementations
Create frameworks for pattern compliance checking
Build and maintain functional test suites (integration, API, UI, end‑to‑end, and optionally security, accessibility, performance)
Perform code quality analysis on refactored services
Establish quality gates in CI/CD pipelines
Work with the team to define “done” criteria for pattern implementations
Document testing strategies and best practices
Validate that changes do not introduce regressions
Collaborate with U.S. teams on quality standards and requirements
Required Technical Skills
3+ years automation engineering
3+ years of .NET (8/9) testing framework knowledge (SpecFlow/Reqnroll, RestSharp, xUnit/NUnit/MSTest)
3+ years experience with Playwright
3+ years experience with CI/CD pipeline integration for testing
3+ years experience with API testing tools and approaches
3+ years experience with code‑quality analysis tools (SonarQube, etc.)
3+ years experience with version control (Git)
NET Core (8, 10), C# (12, 14) – expert in current language features
Azure or other public cloud provider (cloud development, distributed patterns)
Git, GitHub (CLI, Pull Requests)
OpenAPI & REST
Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Testing (CI, CD, CT) (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
SOLID Principles, Clean Code, architectural patterns
Test‑Driven Development, Automated testing (Unit, Integration, E2E)
Docker and containerized (12‑factor) applications
Preferred Skills
Contract testing frameworks (Pact, Spring Cloud Contract)
Performance testing tools
Static code analysis and linting tools
Test containerization
Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms
Infrastructure as Code for test environments
Observability and monitoring for test validation
Quality‑Specific Competencies
Attention to detail and pattern consistency
Ability to think about edge cases and failure scenarios
Experience building reusable test frameworks
Strong analytical skills for identifying quality gaps
Understanding of distributed systems testing challenges
AI & Modern Development
Familiarity with AI coding assistants for test generation (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
Ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate test creation
Openness to exploring AI‑powered testing approaches
Compensation: $111,172 – $257,344 (remote). Additional incentive compensation may be awarded based on performance.
