Responsibilities
Manage the efficient daily operation of a branch office, including sales, operations, consumer/small business lending, providing high client service levels, and ensuring security and safety in accordance with the Bank’s objectives.
Develop new deposit and loan business and provide a superior level of client service.
Promote the sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation and achieve individual and branch sales goals through new business sales, referrals, and account retention.
Provide leadership, training, and supervision, delegating day‑to‑day operations to branch personnel and performing duties in the absence of other personnel.
Actively participate in the Banner Way Sales Management and Sales Management Systems programs to attain established Bank and branch goals.
Partner in community activities to increase the Bank’s visibility and enhance new and existing business opportunities.
Conduct observations and coaching sessions with the sales team, including Touch Bases, Huddles, and Skill builders.
Perform outbound business calls on prospects and clients to understand their current and future financial needs.
Oversee sales of Consumer and Business Credit cards, Account Analysis, Treasury Management Services, Merchant Services, and handle existing Merchant Services issues.
Drive the branch to perform at 100% during Bank and Division Sales Campaigns and conduct branch promotions to build momentum for core account growth.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).
Experience
6 or more years of bank branch leadership and operations experience.
2 or more years of experience in a supervisory/management role leading a project, process, or team.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Advanced knowledge of retail product philosophy, policies, procedures, documentation, and systems; thorough knowledge of all retail products and services and the consumer lending process.
Proven client service, interpersonal, and relationship building skills with effective verbal and written communication.
Effective selling, cross‑selling, and referral skills; demonstrated success in sales and business development.
Ability to develop and manage income and expense budgets; proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills; ability to analyze client credit data and related financial information.
Ability to train employees in client service, sales, operations, product knowledge, and consumer loans, and knowledge of management and supervisory principles, policies, and legal requirements.
Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to banking.
Travel
Up to 20%

Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $81,806–$117,596
